Relationship and Couples Counseling

At Healing Oaks, we don’t have preconceived beliefs about what a relationship should look like; we see LQBTQIA+ and heterosexual couples, marriages, domestic partnerships, polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships, and co-parents. What we do believe, is that healthy relationships are what form the foundation for a healthy community and yet they are often the most the difficult aspects of our lives.

Whether you are seeking individual counseling with one of our clinicians to help guide you to healthier relating, or you’re seeking couples counseling to bring focus to the health of a relationship, our clinicians strive to create a safe and trusting environment. Each individual can explore their needs honestly, and also gain tools to help those needs fall into open ears for healthier communication between partners.

Please note: Part of our lack of preconceived beliefs is whether or not the individuals in the couple should stay together. Healing Oaks does not promise to mend relationships with individuals who do not wish to be in the relationship. Our promise is to help you explore these dynamics honestly and to allow more authentic selves to emerge in connection together, or with dignity apart.
